What’s included in monthly bookkeeping?

Every month you get fully reconciled books (all accounts matched and current), a Profit & Loss report in plain English, and a clear snapshot of your business health. I’ll also flag anything unusual — a spike in expenses, a slow revenue trend — so you always know what’s going on before it becomes a problem.

How much does it cost?

Monthly bookkeeping is priced based on your transaction volume and number of accounts. Most clients fall in the $200–$400/month range. I’ll give you a clear, no-surprise quote on our free 30-minute call.

Do you use a service agreement?

Yes — a simple service agreement protects both of us. It outlines exactly what’s included, the monthly rate, and how either of us can end the arrangement. You can cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice, and there are no long-term commitments or lock-ins.

What if I’m behind on my books?

No problem at all — this is very common. I offer a one-time Catch Up & Clean Up service to get your books fully up to date, and then we transition right into monthly bookkeeping. I’ll quote the catch-up work separately based on how far behind you are.

What software do you use?

I work in QuickBooks Online, which connects directly to your bank accounts, credit cards, and payment processors (like Stripe or PayPal) to keep everything in sync automatically.

Do I need to do anything each month?

Very little. I’ll occasionally need you to clarify a transaction I’m unsure about, but my goal is to handle as much as possible so you can stay focused on your business. Most clients spend less than 15 minutes a month responding to me.

Will you work with my CPA?

Yes! I’ll coordinate directly with your CPA at tax time and deliver year-end financials they can work from right away. If you don’t have a CPA, I can point you toward one.
